WHAT/!!!!!!!!

I don't know what you guys think but I thought that I would tell you that I was concidering extending my mission a little bit longer. I was talking with President Stauffer a little bit about it and wondering if it would be possible. I wanted to see how you all felt about it before putting the stamp of approval on it. I think that if I can I will extend one transfer more, which would end before Christmas. Anyways just to give you guys a little heads up and see what you think.

I am so sorry because of all the crazy things that have been happening, today I didnt even get to start my internet until about 15 minutes ago only like 45 min late, welcome to the offices!!!! Well this week was a good experience with lots of good memories but one of the best ones happened yesterday. We are currently working with a single lady who is in her 50's and she is from Venezuela, she has been having some difficulties in her life and she has been working hard down here but is also moving around a lot and she feels alone a lot of times. So this Sunday we decided to talk to her a little bit about the Plan of Salvation (her dad died of recent and she wasn't able to spend the time with him) we started the lesson and asked how she felt, she said that she felt good with the church and with the love she felt because of us and the other members but that she didn't think she was ready to be baptized this 3 of march. We figured that this answer was coming because we haven't had as much time to teach her, but we began to share our message with her and shared all sorts of scriptures and the member that we brought with us was perfect for her and testified of the gospel in their life and it was fantastic. We got to almost the end and we decided to adjust the baptismal date and we asked her if she would be baptized this 24 of February, she looked at us and said that she would be happy to. We were super happy and promised all sorts of blessings and all sorts of things. At the end we asked her to give a prayer and she said she would, and then in the middle of the prayer she started to bawl and was saying thank you for sending these two angels and for showing that you still love me etc etc. It was a really neat experience to have this happen. I know that God is blessing us constantly and is going to continue helping us after all that we can do, we have promised to work and give all that we have so that we can have more of these moments and people in our lives. We are happy and working hard and coming home tired every night so I think we are on the right path. Anyways that was my fun experience for this week I hope that it gives you an idea of what is happening with me even though I cant write everything. I love you guys lots and hope that you are having the time of your lives, you all deserve it!!!!!!!!!! Take care!!!!!!!!!!

all is Wells in Covida Peru

Well this week was full of some surprises. Well I changed areas... I didn't get changed from my asignment I am still the financial secretary I just got moved to a different ward. The funniest greatest part is where I got moved and who my companion is. I was moved to Covida which is like 4-5 minutes away from Palmeras. The best part is who my companion is. He isn't a latino, he is from Utah, he is a good friend already, and he is just a super great guy in general. His name is Elder Wells. How funny is that. Now there are going to be two gringos together in the middle of a huge southern american city. It is super weird because we can talk english or spanish and we both understand it as well. It has already been super fun talking and getitng to know each other even better. I have been around Elder Wells for like a year just chasing him from zone to zone and now we are companions.

Well how time is flying. I thought that my time was passing fast before, I could swear that today is only Wednesday of last week. Alright well lets see what I have to say about this week. All is good down south. I am super happy with everything that I am going through and for this fun new assignment and area I have. I couldn't be happier with where I am, who I am with, and what I get to do. It is such a treat to be so close to my mission President and get to see how he does everything. We are working harder than ever we have to do all that we can working like donkeys just to be able to escape at 5 at night to go teach. It usually seems to be closer to 6 which gives us almost no time. I dont mind too much though, we get a lot of stuff done. My companion is super great too he is like a firecracker he is everywhere with a little explosion over there than over there and there. We are a good team we have a whole bunch of energy and we are just two happy souls doing all that we can for the work. I also get to see a lot more miracles happen here, there are a lot of good people and a lot of rude people but the good people definitely out weigh the bad ones. This is going to be a one in a lifetime experience so I gotta make it a good one anyways right? I have to fix a lot of problems always there are a lot of missionaries who just dont even think before they do stuff they just call me and want a good answer and I usually just ask them what there plan is, and then when they say no I ask them to call and get more information or think about it a second and then call me when they have thought it over. It is weird having to be that type of person but it was how I was explained to do my job. Well I hope that all goes well for each and everyone of you. Love you guys to death and hope that you accomplish great things and have big visions in mind. Mosiah 5:3 Love You!!!!

Hello family how are you?

Well everything here is good, quite normal just trying to work hard and get everything done that I have to. Sometimes it seems to be a disaster with all of the crazy things but I try to make it work. We are doing quite well as far as how our investigators are progressing and who all is progressing.
I am happy to still be here in the offices even though there is still so much stress and so many things that happen. It has been rather difficult to have 4 different companions in the space of 5 transfers. I am trying my hardest to keep my head on straight and to try to adapt to all of the different styles and personalities that there are but it has been quite the adventure.

I dont have a lot of things to say today but I just wanted you guys to know that I love you, and that I appreciateevewry little thing that you guys do for me and for the sacrifices and the obstacles that you guys get over to help me.I am so grateful that I could come to know you guys and to be able to spend this time here with you.

I hope that you guys have a great week and that you can enjoy every second that passes and that you can be able to change the world where you are at. I love you guys so very much and ask and pray for you guys!!! I hope that you all love each other and that you guys can always remember to smile and be happy even when it is difficult. Keep on keeping on!!!

With love,
Elder Hyde
