Well this week has been up and down. Lots of things going on here. The misssion had a visit from Elder Falabella of the seventy, he is columbian and a really good guy. We were able to learn a bunch from him this week and we were able to learn a bunch from him and expand our knowledge and learn how we can better our skills and hone them in. We also learned a very important lesson about not only planning in a way that is inspired but that is even more specific than normaly done. We understood the need to make detailed plans for each of our investigators for our district leaders and for everyone that we come in contact with. It was cool to see the way that he used some of our fechas and to open our eyes to the reality that could happen if we would just push ourselves a little more. We have made a bunch of plans to help everyone to understand the need to go and give everything that you have and then search for the grace of God. I wish that I could put all my thoughts magically on the computer so that we could all understand me a little better, but that will be technology for the future. Well I love you guys so much and hope that you all enjoy your week and that we can stretch ourselves even more this week. Love you guys so much!!

I talked with President this week and he asked about the family and how they were doing. Then he asked about Grant and gracie and I told him that grant leaves here in a week. He said ''wow thats crazy well how about you give him a call and give him a few pointers and send him off good.'' So I think I will be making a call tomorrow in the morning about 8:00am my time what do you think about that???? Respond quick and let me know!!! I think that it will only be specifically to Grant but still fun!!!

Well so sorry that I am starting this letter so late and that there will not be so much information in it as I would like. Sorry that I cant touch every little experience that I go through or am priveledged to have. I just want you all to know that I love you guys and I love this work. I know that the Lord has blessed me with so many great people and experiences and I know that there is so much more that I receive than I deserve. Sometimes I ask why God gives so much even after we have left him or ignored him or just straight up rejected him. I know that he loves us and expects us to learn to live and to love. I testify of his power and his love and everything that he does for us and the people that he wants and wishes that we become. I know that if we allow him to do his work that he will do it and he will fulfill with his part. I love him and thank him for the wonderful power of his atonement and the power of our repentance. I know that all he wishes is that we come back and that we align ourselves with him. I hope that you all can have confidence in him and his divine power. I know that he will heal our wounds and that he will give us power to overcome. I love each and everyone of you and know that he will bless us for everything that we do that he asks. So this week was an intreresting week for me and many of my group. So on tuesday we had the Mission council with all of the zone Leaders and Hermana leader Capacitadores. I usually get to slip in for a little bit of time but am not usually in all of it. Well this tuesday in the morning becuase there are so many of us leaving this week President was doing something a little different. Because there are 9 Zone leaders dying and many other district leaders going home he called some of the zone leaders a little earlier. He called a group of about 14 people in to decide who he was going to have be a zone leader, he said that he would interview each of them and then say who would be going up. I was the busy guy bringing people in to have there little interview with President while trying to get so many other things done at the same time. At the end of the 14th interview I just went up to president and said that is it that is all of them, he closed the door and said there is one more. He took me in sat me down and didnt ask any questions just told me that he needed me now more than ever and had been thinking about calling me for a long time but he needed me to clean up all the financial things first. He told me that I needed to be ready to be in charge of a zone and change the lives of the missionaries in it and help him to help these missionaries have experiences that will change there lives forever and that we will be able to change the world. He told me that I need to be happy all the time and not let it show that anything is affecting me and that I need to be able to go running that there was no time to crawl or fall that I had to just start running from day 1. So I didnt have to go through some painful interview I just got put right into the fire haha. So giving me all that about a week ago I have been a little anxious, and happy, and in a panic to get everything done that I need to. I am going to be relieved of a couple duties and put with different ones so we will see what else there is coming on this week. I have no idea which zone but I have to train a new secretary on top of all those things so it will be one of 3 zones I think. Palmeras, El Trebol, Or Los Olivos so we will be telling you a little later athis week. I dont really know what else to say but I am going to do all that I can to be the best missionary that I can. Sorry that I am just saying everything in circles I just only have that one thought running through my head right now. Well I love you guys so much!!!!!!!!!! Until next week.

Buenas Tardes,

Well this has been an interesting week here. We were super busy with everything that has been happening with Zone Conferences, and all the other fun Activities that we have been having. Everything is going good for me, it is hard being in an office all day when you want to go out and find, teach, and baptize all the time as well. I am working hard to get out on time, which is about 6 but it isn't all that easy. I am also trying to get caught up on everything this week and try to be ready for transfers because there is a good chance that I won't be here next transfer. We will see. Overall it was just a really normal and calm week. Not a whole lot that we couldnt get done or stay on top of. 

This week was our Zone conferences and for me and Elder Goolsby it was a little frustrating because we werent able to be in the meeting all that much because another elder has a blood clot in his back and had to go to the doctor during the meeting. We were in and out of the meeting the whole day and really didnt do a whole lot to participate it was sad. The little bit that I was there for was really good and made us think a lot about how we can get better and accomplish more. I am happy to be able to help in whatever that I need to though. 

This P-day was pretty cool becuase it was P-day for the hermanas so President and Sister Stauffer came to to help the sisters have a good experience and to help them to keep doing better. While they were doing that we got permission to call zona el trebol and play 4 hours worth of soccer and President accompanied us so that was really cool. 

Everything here is going good though, we are going to start with all of the people leaving for home this week. Which means that Elder Godfrey and Elder Jardine are going home this Sunday that is super sad. Elder Godfrey is a really good friend and has helped me out a bunch, I will miss him a lot. Then transfers will be here next Tuesday so we will see what the next challenge that God puts in front of me is.

CHANGES IN JULY

Well all is good here in Covida. We are doing our best to be part of this work and to keep throwing Satan out of our heads. This week was a hard week to find "news" (new investigators) for us, we went all the way to Sunday without a single new. We were praying hard to have those spiritual experiences and change the world and our prayers were answered. We walked in Sunday to church to find that one of the members we had talked to brought his reference friend from Venezuela. We were able to help him out and then we have a follow up lesson today at 6:30. Then we went out and contacted like crazy, that is the fun thing when you dont have very many fechas is that you can just go and do a whole bunch of maneras and find truly chosen people. We ran up to one guy to go talk with him and he was a super great guy. We did a great Salvacion en 60 Segundos with ping-pong and everything. Then we asked him if we could go and teach him and he said right now he was leaving but another day, but we didn't get discouraged. We asked for just 5 min and he rejected us again. Then we tried one more way giving him another promise and he said that would be fine. Then he went and talked our ears off, and we gave him a great message in about 35-40 min. It was just another small reminder that God is willing to bless us for every effort. Maybe not always the first or second try, but after giving everything that you have to find them. Elder Goolsby and I are ready to go and find 7 News this Week without fail!!!





I was a little heavy hearted on Friday for a minute but everything is good now. We were working with Homero and he was a golden investigator and has been progressing really good. He has come to activities and to church everyweek and has read everything that we give him he just wants to know more before, like everyone. We have been working hard with him so that he can live, feel, and share (doesnt sound quite as pretty in english) his experiences, but he is a talker. He is doing a lot of research and talking a lot with his evangelical sister who is putting all sorts of crazy things into his head. We are going to figure out a way to help him change his thinking process, and not put it as a side note religion but something that connects with all. I was also a little frustrated because the Part Family wife that we have been working with didn't come to church and she wasnt answering the door or the phone. We are going to go and find her and help her to complete with the rest of the things that she needs to learn. That is what got me down, but then I just went and had a pump up meeting with the assistants. I am super glad that we still have this confidence between us. 

Me and Elder Goolsby are doing great. I am glad that he is ready to work and that he has fire. He said that he was a little down after the last transfer but that he can get it back with a little push. I promised and still promise to give him that little extra push to get back up and to take me and him to greater heights. We are setting goals to get more work done more efficiently and we are going to make sure to baptize our two this month whatever we have to do (whithin limits of course). I am ready, I have my fire and I wont let it be put out!!!  

Well here is my message that I sent to President I hope it will help a little cause I had no time today, I was busy writing a contract for a house on the fly!!!
